My run on the bike path this evening was peaceful. There was a nice sunset, cool breeze and not many people out walking either. It was mostly me and my thoughts...

Some nights after a long work day I feel that the only good medicine for me is going outside for a run. It's the only thing that soothes my mind and body to the point that I relax and think clearly. Afterward I feel amazing and mentally I feel prepared to take on any task that comes my way.

One thing I know about myself is that I function more effectively and purposefully after running.

And that's a really good feeling to know it.
